Safe Trick-Or-Treating

Get your costume ready, collect the kids and come on down to Breidert Green where you can pick up your clues and map for the scavenger hunt. Then enjoy solving the clues and finding the hidden places in Frankfort. Be sure to be back on the Green to line up for the annual Halloween Parade. The Frankfort Police Department, the Frankfort Area Historic Society and The Frankfort Historic Merchants Association are sponsoring this annual family event.

This year the merchants in the historic district are combining their efforts and staying open later on this Friday night to offer you an evening of fun filled holiday shopping. Get a group together and check out the latest holiday décor and gifts.

26th Annual Kristkindl Weekend

Start a family tradition, visit Historic Frankfort for Kristkindl Weekend. Be sure to be on your best behavior and look for St. Nicholas wandering throughout the historic district each afternoon. Enjoy your time in historic Frankfort; take a horse drawn wagon ride, decorate a cookie, listen to strolling carolers and get a big dose of holiday spirit.

6th Annual Cookie Walk
Saturday & Sunday, December 3rd & 4th

Again this year as part of our Kristkindl Weekend, our merchants will offer homemade holiday cookies to those holding tickets to our seventh annual Cookie Walk. Purchase a ticket for $5 then, pick up your map and bag on Breidert Green. Collect a cookie at each of the participating businesses. This is a wonderful way to get acquainted with the shops in Historic Frankfort and do a little "holiday baking"….only you know where all those yummy cookies came from.

Midnight Madness

Finish your holiday shopping in the brisk winter air. Store in the historic district stay open till midnight with fun promotions. Check each shop for their specials and return over and over to see new specials and/or pricing.
